BFT 360 INSTRUCTIONS
Before beginning this or any exercise program, please consult a healthcare provider for appropriate exercise prescription and safety precautions. The exercise instruction and advice presented are in no way intended as a substitute for medical consultation.
Basic Guidelines
  • All exercises are performed barefoot. Inspect your feet before and after each exercise session. If skin irritation occurs discontinue use and consult with your health care professional.
  • As with any new exercise program you may feel muscle soreness and fatigue. If any increased pain or swelling is experienced discontinue use and consult with your health care professional.
Training Guidelines
  • Begin using BFT 360 in sitting without socks or shoes.
  • Progress from seated to standing exercises as tolerated.
  • Begin standing exercises with support to maintain balance and safety. (countertop/ grab bar/ walking poles are good options)
  • Begin with large balance pods and progress to small pods for more challenging balance training activities.
  • Place balance pod closer to heel for more stability and closer to toes for increased exercise difficulty.
  • The small and large balance pods may be placed on each footbed together for increased stability.
  • When balance pods are removed the BFT 360 footbeds may be used as exercise gliders on carpeted surfaces.
  • Included resistance bands can be utilized for progressive strength training from light to heavy.
 
BFT 360 Precautions
 
  • The BFT 360 training device must be used on a flat clean surface.
  • The BFT 360 glider can only be used on carpeted surfaces. (a small no-slip carpet runner works well)
  • The BFT 360 training device cannot be used for running or jumping activities.
